Once upon a time, there was Speech Language Pathologist who believed in the value of early intervention.  The SLP who was a big kid herself, believed in the power of play to develop speech and language skills. She lived for the impact she was able to make at the beginning of a child’s journey with speech and language development.

 

One day she met a devoted teacher who shared the same passion and values. The teacher loved working with young children with disabilities because of their innocence and ability to grow and change. 

 

They both dream of one day opening a school that would provide the foundation for these children to succeed throughout the rest of their lives in the community and the education system.

 

Through direct connections with families in Airdrie and their own research, their hearts guided them to use the not-for-profit charity AHFC, to support children with disabilities and their families in partnership with Alberta Education. 

 

Our Early Childhood Services in Airdrie, AB provide Kindergarten and preschool supports children ages 2.8 to 5 years of age. We work in partnership with families, the community, and Alberta Education to provide opportunities to build learning foundations that last a lifetime.
